Main Purpose of Post:To promote a quality culture within GA Engineering and to ensure the products manufactured both internal and external requirements and expectations.
To provide advice and expertise to management across the range of our activities and promote awareness of Quality issues by developing training initiatives to all levels of operators as required. Ensure full traceability of all documentation.
Required Skills and Experience–       Experience in an inspection related role.
–       Understand NCR analysis and reporting
–       CMM programming and operating.
–       Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015
–       H&S knowledge and experience
–       Lead RCCA investigations
 –       Good computer skills, including Excel, Word
Job Summary–       Hands on role working with current inspection team as required.
–       Reports, FAIRS, periodic inspection and/or patrol
–       Resolution of issues
–       Recording, trending, and reporting on internal, external, and supplier NCRs, leading effective RCCA
–       IMS Manual document control
–       Monthly reporting and review with the Group QHSE Manager
–       Internal Audit programme
–       Monitors and Measure KPIs, assist on reporting
–       Quality Plans, PAPP’s, FMEAS etc
–       Oversee calibration system and its components
–       Training and competency of employees
–       Customer communication
–       Participate in contract review as required
Qualification–       Time Served Engineer
–       SVQ 4 or equivalent in an Engineering discipline
Experience–       Previous Quality role function.
–       Health, Safety & Environmental Awareness
–       Quality Process Knowledge
Objectives/ Measurement–       NCR reporting completion <72hrs
–       Cost of quality <1% turnover through proper corrective action analysis and implementation.
–       Reduction in repeat NCR findings
–       Completion of various continuous improvement projects (TBA)
